As 2024 comes to an end, I thought it would be a good time to look back at the year for this newsletter. When I started this I believed that it was something that could be helpful, but giving its very specific topic base (the intersections of weight science, weight stigma, and healthcare,) I didn’t know if anyone would ever read it! I’m overjoyed and humbled to say that Weight and Healthcare received 1,377,891 views so far this year. (I realize that’s not a lot for all publications, but it feels like a lot for me and I’m always excited and grateful for every view!)

I also looked at the top 10 posts from this year. When I first conceptualized this Substack (a little over three years ago) I imagined writing a combination of quick guides, research deep dives, practical tools and resources, and weight loss industry exposes. Reading through the list I was delighted to see that each of those made your Top 10!

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who reads the newsletter. I’m so glad that you are here, whether you just randomly found this or were a subscriber from day one (and there are quite a few of you and I can’t thank you enough!)
