Thanks so much for this resource! I also have a directory for size-friendly doulas and birth/parenting professionals that requires size-inclusivity maternity training (accredited by the California State Board of Nursing and the International Childbirth Education Association for contact hours). https://www.sizefriendly.com/
There is a care navigation group that offers a paid membership to help find providers who are weight inclusive and/or LGBTQIA2S+ allies. I have had great success using their services. This is not an ad, but a review of sorts from a happy customer. If you have the funds available to you, their services are well worth the investment. https://www.iconichealth.com
Here to affirm the mention of community groups for sharing information. I've had a rough time with doctors and specialists since I moved to California five years ago--a major range of care along the validating-to-traumatizing spectrum, and currently my PCP is the best one I've ever had. But since I'm not from California originally, I've found FB groups for both the state and my nearest city helpful in getting recommendations.
I’m a weight-neutral provider of therapy and coaching services. This is NOT an ad, obviously, but I have more info and an entire page on my website dedicated to my anti-fatbias and anti-diet approach to anxiety, emotion regulation and life skills. Https://vanessagorelkin.com
If there is anyone who would like to try Brainspotting for trauma resolution, you are welcome to let me know what state you're in and I'll check with the Body Justice Brainspotting Group on Facebook and in our monthly group clinical supervision. Otherwise, you may inadvertently end up with someone marketing Brainspotting as a weight loss tool (we're working on educating in this community).
EDIT: forgot to tell you that you can message me with your state on IG @thebeautifulhumanschool or email me through passaticounseling.com - The speed of my response depends on how long it take my FB group members to see my message!
