I'm curious about how the public health messaging and insurance play into the research as well. Also, you might of discussed this in part 1 and if so i'm sorry i can't remember it but has there been any discussion/research with regards to what organs metabolize these drugs and what impact they potentially have on them especially considering the high doses. I know there isn't any long-term data (as there should be) but is there any short term?
The side effects include risk to organ health including kidney disease, gallbladder disease, and pancreatitis as well as a risk of ileus - even with just the short-term data we have.
and why is that brought up more frequently when talking about people just taking these drugs??? it so often implied that it is w/o risk and only of benefit. And that is just the short-term data!
